Balancing Act at Ramen Lab

3/ 5

Date of experience: 6/08/18 Weight at time of experience: 236 lbs Height: 5’2.5″ Shape: Basic pear, bigger bum and thighs I’d been to this place once before and I really enjoyed the food; however, the chairs are really terrible! The first time, I sat outside and wow, did the chairs hurt! This time though, we sat inside at the counter. The counter stools were so not much better! They hurt less, but they are the kind of stools that I can’t stand. They are so small and have no back support whatsoever. I felt like I was trying to balance myself the whole time. In fact, I had to put my foot on the adjoining stool in order to stay on my stool. I was trying not to be too embarrassed by how I had to prop myself up or about how far my butt was sticking out over the stool and into the walkway behind me. Ugh. Again, the one thing that saves this place for me is that the food is really quite good. I had the Korean Short Ribs Shoyu Ramen Bowl. Overall, it’s a bit pricey and all the seats are uncomfy, but the food…yum, yum! Maybe next time, I’ll just order out instead of eating in. -LanaBare @ Fat Girl Reviews
